Rookgaard is the name of the newbie island as well as the name of the town on it. The town is surround by a wall, which protects the city against the hostile environment. The only way to get out is in the north of town, when you are level 2 and higher. Everyone starts out on Rookgaard and must level up to 8. Then you can choose a vocation and leave the island forever.
